I’m mostly a developer but I have come to acquire system and network administration skills.

I can organize myself, set due dates and prioritize my work.

Systems administration skills: administration and maintenance of Windows clients; administration of Debian-based servers; installation and maintenance of Apache web server; installation and maintenance of file and printer sharing services using Samba; installation and maintenance of mail services using Postfix; installation and maintenance of web proxy service using Squid; installation and maintenance of Domain name services using Bind.

Office Applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access. Open Office. Novell Evolution. Abiword. Gnumeric.

Databases: Good knowledge of MySQL (installation, maintenance, programming).

2004-2005: Junior system and network administrator at the Liceo Ginnasio “M. Gioia”, Piacenza, Italy
I maintained 50+ terminals using various versions of Microsoft Windows (95, 98, XP) and two servers (Windows 2003, Linux Slackware) for 120+ teachers and 1200+ students. I did also teach basic computer skills to six classes of 20+ students.
